Arachnophobia

Hey, Dev´´s.
maybe im alone with this idea but
I would love to see a feature that changes the apperance of these black creatures..
I know these aren´t spiders at all but they trigger me possibly even more then real spiders do.
The way they sound especially when they jump at you is triggering me very much.
its evern worse because my biggest fear of spiders is that they could jump right at you or in your face.. terrifying...

without a jet pack it would easily be an alt f4 in every situation they attack me. i always fly away and try not to look back..

sometimes they spawn out of nowhere its horrible...

There is a arachnophobia mode in the game. Check your settings.

If that still doesn't help then there is a mod called "True Arachnophobia Mode" which is removing the spiders entirely.

Just a tip: The cats look way bigger but do not seem increase the hitbox so remember to hit lower to actually hit them

There is a mod that removes spiders entirely called "True Arachnophobia Mode".

I was gonna say a jet pack really doesn't help, because the big ones can match your height easily, and they're faster than you. Even using a mod that increases your jump height and movement speed doesn't help that much; they can knock you off the top of a geothermal generator. A 1-hit-kill mod is essential for these; Panic swinging/firing does the trick.

I think the same, the meowing is super annoying. Its actually worse than having to look at the spiders
