As to burn-out; some people do get it whilst others are able to play past the mid-game. I just read a post where it seemed someone got burn-out still at the early-game portion. Myself, I think I am just about in end-game (a hair's breadth from Nuclear Power) and feel the need for a break for a short bit. Gonna do Tropico 4 for a spell, though perhaps wait a bit longer until Update 8 has run through Experimental for a while and has reached EA.
I would say Satisfactory is one of the extremely rare examples of Early Access functioning.
I have also waited a long time that it goes out of the EA because I actually do not buy EA games but here I did it then but and not regretted is also my first EA game.
But stating that someone shouldn't because of overwhelming status...
In my case I've ranked way over 800 hours of play. I think that with that much I can say that is a good game even if I'm not playing now...
And anyway I count to start again with new update....
I'm dead LOL!
If you've played factorio and completed it without getting burnt out then you won't get burned out playing satisfactory. Some people just find it too difficult and tedious when the production lines get complicated in end game.
The game is much better now.
The burnout happens if you go into the game with a "i need to finish it" sentiment.
The current endgame can take a long time or can be a lot of work. depends on how you tackle it.
If you just setup a basic production for stuff and find something else to do it can be quiet relaxing. If you don't know what to do next, taking a break helps.
It is not a game in the "gamey" sense of things.
When? How shall people tell you what improved if no one knows the version of your last playthrough?
Because it is an excellent game. And always was (tried first on version 5)
