Mod Manager and Tanking Performance/FPS
Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Issue: Activating any mod in the Ficsit mod manager (SMM) causes severe frame drops. I’ve tried reinstalling the mod manager, changing Between D11, 12, and Vulcan, prayed the rosary, and nothing.

It’s not the mod manager itself, since I can launch the game through the SMM with no issues. It’s only when I have a mod activated.

This wasn’t an issue in prior versions of the game. And to be honest, there’s been a few updates (6 & 7) since I’ve tried mods.

Any recommendations?

Is this any mod? Or one or more specific mods?

It's going to be the mod then, does it add a bunch of new things? It may just be more then your system can handle. My game is very lightly modded, only having some QOL things and it runs fine.

I’ve only tried a handful of mods, one at a time, and have the issue persist. BUT, this makes me think to expand my sample size. Maybe it’s just the few I tested.

Running a 4090 and 13900k, so it’s not the hardware. Getting around 150+ fps on maxed out settings on an ultra wide.

Yeah man, I run a 950 (yes, OLD, motherboard is to small to support the upgrade I got... sooo x.x was the last thing to upgrade and now I need a whole motherboard, PLUS case! fun times!) but can run it pretty good on a mix of med to high graphics with a few mods.

I have
Efficiency Checker Mod (amazing and useful as you upgrade belts in progression to give you flat numbers and not have to recalc everything yourself)
Micro Manage
Laser Power Cable Skin (looks cool and easily see whats powered from afar)
Just Pause (because I wanna pause the game some times x.x)
Vehicle Path Viewer
Decoration (to spice up some areas and play around :P)

and I have had no impact on my fps
