On Experimental, few to none.
Either way, you can download mods and the mod launcher from https://ficsit.app
Mods don't work on Experimental because Experimental has the new Update 8, which made major changes to the game's internals. The mod launcher is community made, the modding community is still working on updating mods and the mod launcher to match.
I haven't played the game for awhile so I have not verified any mods yet. Maybe I'll start playing the game again this week.
I believe the problem with U8 is that it changed from Unreal Engine 4 to 5 and the mods and launcher all had to be updated to work wither Unreal 5.
My understanding anyhow, I could be way off base.
but the update of the Unreal Engine 5.2 is pending
there the whole game starts again from the beginning until there is a working SML again.
and of these also a new mod
the problem is the one mod is from someone who first updated his mods for EA not for Experimental.
but as mentioned above Unreal 5.2 is coming and I think the SML will be incompatible again and this will be mandatory use to mod again to
to update.
The problem is not directly the engine but the interface
between the engine and the mods the SML.
I am playing on experimental and knowing such have avoided mods. Heck when i bought this game and started looking into mods knowing its EA and mods would probably break I stayed away from mods except a couple of helping mods.
I'll dive into mods after my first vanilla playthrough as many look rather neat. I like many of the ideas by Andre Aquila.
