How do you build/design your rail supports?

I'm about to start laying train tracks, and I'm in need of ideas to steal inspire me

For raised rails, I just zoop some foundations, lay the track, remove the foundations and put some pillars with regular intervals from the rail down. For longer gaps, framework bridges. Haven't done dual tracks as I've found simple, sometimes "round the world" loops to be effective. If you're planning a more centralised system, you're going to need more complex logistics.
