Experimental Branch Console commands

I wanted to start a new game but not have to deal with concrete and steel for actually building foundations and walls and cant figure out how to use the give item command which patch notes for update 8 say work

Just go on Options > Advanced Game Settings > Gameplay > Give Items > Select items to give.
