You can try "vulkan" as start argument, to force the engine to use this API instead of DirectX. If it won't work, you can remove it, no permanent damage should occur. (source: https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Launch_arguments )
Right, it's much much better than its reputation. I got one with 5600g and one with 2200u and the game performed better than The Forest (which only goes to show how optimized the game really is even though it's still in EA). The 5600g even takes Elden Ring so it really is a powerhouse considering the low power and the fact that its only an iGP. Neither Nvidia nor Intel can beat that and that has been the case for some time now.
This is almost a year ago since I tested when building and went straight for the RX480 afterwards so the game might've had some recent updates there, but according to the specs your iGP should definitely run it, feature wise at least.
Verify the game files and run
sfc /scannow
as admin as there might be some corruption somewhere and that message can prop up if there is something wrong with the Windows install. Then delete the config files and try again. Last resort - switch to Vulkan.
(sfc and dism should be run at least once a month.)

One last thing; stick with u7 until u8 hits the EA branch...
