Can I play this with Nvidia GeForce MX230?
Sorry this is probably a stupid question- I know it's not a good graphics card but it's what came with the laptop, lol. I've been really wanting to play this but it's not on PS yet, so I guess I figured I'd ask. I don't know much about specs and stuff, I'm a noob lol.

This looks like a laptop integrated card. From what I can tell it has 2GB of vram and that might not be up to the task. You may be ok with update 8 at some very low settings as long as your bar of playability is low enough.

Thank you. Do you think it is worth buying? Someday I'll get a real PC 😔😛
if you plan to get a real pc soon then its worth trying out. Just keep your expectations low in terms of performance on the laptop.
an alternative is to "try out" the game by watching a youtube channel doing a playthrough and then you can at least see how the mechanics works, how the graphics works on a decent computer and see what you can expect later if you do buy that better PC.
If you go for a real PC, I play on a GTX1070 on high detail. so anything that or better is fine.
Thank you both of you. Unfortunately I wont be getting a PC anytime soon (I'd want it to be fully equipped so I'd put a lot of money into it lol) but somedayyyy

Honestly, going for a GPU now is only going to hurt your wallet. Why not go for an AMD APU and then upgrade later on with a dedicated GPU either on heavy discount or used?
It also very much depends on the rest of your specs but the #1 issue you will be running into (aside from your GPU being very likely not up to it) is thermal throttling. Gaming notebooks are very vulnerable to that and chances are that you will be running into it when you fully stress your hardware over a longer period of time further reducing performance.

I’m not sure what that is 😰 I only know that I have 20GB of RAM that I installed (my laptop had no extra slots and only one removable- so it’s a 4 + 16) and I know I can’t upgrade the actual GPU cuz it’s integrated. (It’s a laptop) The laptop runs great but most 3D games end up super laggy

Get, or build, a computer with an AMD processor that has an integrated graphics card, Ryzen 5/7 xxxxg (the 'g' right after the model number indicates there's built-in graphics capability). It's the best buck for your money right now, then you can get a dedicated GPU later on.

I personally have the Ryzen 5 5600g and it's pretty decent for games (not on highest of course):

you probably can but only if you play on 720p low settings, but you can just buy it and try it, if it doesnt work you can just refund it before you reach the 2 hour mark

heres a guy playing it on an iGPU thats pretty close in performance to your mx230, this is probably what you should expect when playing the game with ur laptop
note that he has 16 gigs of ram so if u have less than that you may get worst performance, but if you have 8 you should probably be fine
