Unreal Engine Entity Limit -> Maximum number of UObjects (2162688) exceeded
This save is a u6 game that only has 800hrs. I was wondering if I were to empty storages of product waiting for the next step in production, would that give me back entity space? I have 370939 building pieces and 2,500,000 items in storage.

This is everything the community knows about the engine UObject limit: https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Tutorial:Unreal_Engine_Entity_Limit

I know that buildables, both passive (e.g. walls) and active (e.g. constructors) count towards it, I don't know if items in storages count.

Is there a way to check my save on how many objects i have?
Im nearly 700h in and have not finished the last space elevator stage yet.

Another argument against using in-line storages. Stockpiles are basically wasted memory. Use portable miners to reduce the slots of the containers in your mall, and sink everything else.

Well I'm at almost 2000 hours and hope that s I still have a little air because a construction limit has always spoiled my mood in the game

A good argument for a (very basic) logistics display options for the LCDs. Maybe one of the multitude of super computers we produce could actually be turned on?

Oh yes and I don't think it's because of the items you have stored, these objects are not displayed but only with a number in the container.
I have two large warehouses with all the materials that you need
and now for the Christmas event I have alone 672000 gifts stored there runs my Ficsmas still a while further

Is the text in the display variable? I throw pics on my storage to remind me what's in there, but I haven't noticed a way to display the content count. Maybe I missed that in a setting somewhere? ...and if the picture auto-updated to show the majority item in the container, even better!

Still doesn't really help OP though, you almost need a "percent full" indicator for Unreal Engine object limit.

yes this is a mod that displays the content in real time and real quantity and percentage.

Note that in-game buildable objects e.g. a constructor, is not the same thing as a UObject.

A UObject is a memory object, it's how the game engine encapsulates and stores data in computer memory. Each thing you place in the world consists of one or more UObjects. So knowing how many objects you have in the world won't tell you how close you are to the UObject limit, because one buildable might have 1, and another might have 8.

But to get an idea how much you have built, you can open your save in the SCIM online tool which gives a good breakdown (though it measures pipes, conveyors, track, and power lines in total length, not in number of individual segments, and I suspect each segment will independently contribute to the UObjects count): https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/interactive-map

Also, I know a few updates ago the devs did an optimisation to reduce how many UObjects some buildables create. They may be continuing to improve this, I don't know.

Nice will take a look! Might also be a good source to look at for things I might want to build.

i'm nearly 4000hrs in on 1 save and have had the crash issue of amount of buildables has been exceeded, and i have been go'in around delete'in some storage items, foundations and walls(include'in windows) and it seems to be working as haven't had a crash relate'in to buildable's exceeded for a while now

Alright thanks for the info. I think now i still have a long way to go till reaching the limit.

Thanks for the input everyone. I do use mods. Most of them are passive (build tiles). If its not the storage then maybe the mods are creating an abnormal amount of UObjects. I know I can modify my garbage file but i didnt want to. I still have so much more to build :))
