Stuck in a tree, what can I do? Respawn implications?
Just continung my game and its respawned me stuck in a tree, cant more anywhere - what can I do?

My instinct says I should make a container, put everything in it and respawn, but is that really a good idea? any other suggestions please?

(Im not sure Im actually stuuck in a tree - Im right next to a tree but the problem really is that my feet are rooted to the spot - cant move an inch. My legs 'fliinch' whan I hit WASD so the keyboard signal is getting through, but I just dont move.

Ahh I got free!
I hit 'crouch' over and over again and got free.
It was the old tree near the long container thing you need to use frames to unlock.

Try crouching (c) and move, that usually gets me free. Or if you have a chainsaw cut the tree down.

If you get absolutely stuck, the game menu has an option to kill and respawn you. You can also use an online save editor like SCIM to move yourself.

If crouch doesn't help, use a chain saw. In another case, if you die your items fall into the crate. You don't have to do it manually.

Always take a chainsaw with some fuel in your inventory. that would usually help when getting stuck.

This right here. It's stupid that the chainsaw's biggest motivation is a bug whose fix can't seem to get prioritized in build cycles. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.

If you're stuck anywhere and unable to move and you aren't stuck on a structure you made, then chainsaw seems to be the 100% solution.

What would be wrong with 'bulid a container, put all my stuff in it and respawn" - wouldnt that work?

Respawning will create a container that is automatically marked on your compass, and inside will be all of your goods. :) You can skip the build step in that instance.
