Rotor - how to create

Hey,

I need a rotor for one the tier milestones.

I think I need an assembler production unit to produce it, but the assembler production unit needs a rotor to create it. Stuck in that loop.

I'm stuck in the first job of your life that needs 3 years experience dilemma. Most likely I'm missing something... please help

Make the first ones by hand at a crafting bench. The HUB comes with a crafting bench in the center. First you should automate smelting iron and copper ingots. Then automate iron plates, iron rods, and copper wire. Also automate concrete at the nearest limestone deposit. Once you get these basics automated and excess stored in a storage container then you can easily make the next set of more complex items like reinforced plates and rotors. In time you will automate that next step as well, while also making sure to keep an excess of the lower tier items since you will need those to make more equipment later.

For any recipe: press "O" key, search for "Rotor" (or whatever)

Click on the result icon for Rotor and it will give you the recipe and tell you what builds it. I use this screen a lot to add the ingredients for various items to my ToDo list so I know how much I have left to collect.
