Proportioning Splitter

I would like to have a splitter that could divide a product proportionally. It could be a feature of the programmable splitter. For example, I would like to be able to send 90% of the iron ingots out the center output and 10% out the left output, instead of always 50/50.

You could already do that with splitters and mergers.

E.g. you have 90 and want only 10
1) First splitter 3 Outputs -> 30/30/30
2) Take on of the 30 and Split it again to 10/10/10
3) Merge the remaining 30/30/10/10 and you have 80/10

This should work with Most (If Not all) numbers you need. It needs some thinking beforehand tho and is Not as easily done as your suggestion.

Yes, it could be done that way, but that is a lot of equipment to do a simple task. It doesn't seem like the programming should be too horrible. You could use counting functions such that it counts 9 out the center and then one out the left, repeating for each 10 inputs.
