Right now, I have a system through OVH for about $12/m because I do smaller things with it, be it Discord bot or some other small stuff I do on it that I need some persistence with. I did some pricing around of several offers and OVH has always been the best value and me personally, they've been fine. You'll be looking at around $40-$50/m if you rent from OVH for a 16 GB VPS. vCore doesn't matter too much, but I think with that system, you'll be getting 2 or 4 anyway.
Now, all that being said, this is for a bare bones Linux install on a VPS. This is not a dedicated game server like others out there, so knowledge of minimal Linux CLI is required unless one is willing to learn. I can't comment on other services that are "dedicated" to specific games because you don't have full control of the system, which is something I want. That's why I opt to go for a VPS because at least there, I have full control of the system I rent, including root access.
If that's not what you're looking for, perhaps someone out there can provide something. I hear Nitrado is semi-popular, but I've never used them, nor do I ever plan to myself.
anyway - for a basic dedicated root server able to host a satisfactory server you're in at around 30 bucks - but it requires you to manage the whole server all by yourself
so, be aware of that an unsecured server in the wild will be the target of hackers and spammers try to exploit its weakness: an unexperienced admin
so - unless you have at least some basic skills I would recommend a managed game instance rather than your own server - its too high of a risk just to host one game server for a short time
@twinshadow
VPS just don't have the required oomph for serving as game servers (note: dedicated server here means two things - a physical server machine and the games server software) - at least not for how resource hungry satisfactory currently is as for U7. yes, they are good to learn and to have run light stuff like some bots or a small website - but its limited by a shared host system and all limits that this comes with - not suitable for game servers
