Any UNSTUCK option?

More than once, I've merely been gathering materials for fuel and get stuck near a tree. I can't get loose from it. I restarted and it put me right back, stuck.

For me it sometimes works to crouch and wiggle around.

If you have the chainsaw, you can also cut the tree down

I haven't personally experienced that, There is a button in the menu for respawning.

Hit ESC to get to the main menu, there is a unstuck option there if you get stuck.

You can also build a storage container, fill it up with everything you have on you and respawn. If you wear your hub in your pocket plant the hub next to you,and respawn directly.

Seconding this post. Every time I've gotten stuck it's on or near an object that the chainsaw can destroy, and every time the chainsaw gets it done. Highly recommend prioritizing this until they fix this annoying af bug.
