Uneven distribution from a single conveyor splitter?
TL;DR One splitter to two constructors -> one constructor had a full stack of leaves to be made into biomass. The second constructor struggled to have enough to process biomass consistently.

I had ALOT of leaves. So i dumped all of the leaves into a storage container that lead to a splitter. The splitter went to two constructors to being the process of constructing biomass and then solid biofuel.

The conveyor belts visually showed leaves being equally distributed.

But only one constructor was constantly working. And it got up to a max stack of leaves very fast.

The other constructor never had more leaves then it needed to construct a single process of biomass.

I've never seen a splitter do this before. I've always seen splitters split the freight equally.

Do either of the constructors involved have Power Shards in them? Could be that the one that's overflowing has none; And the one that barely seems to have enough has several so it's crafting operations are MUCH faster. You may have meant to shove power shards into both but possibly ran out after the first and eventually forgot to put a few in the second.

But generally speaking, no, splitters should not do this- Unless it's a smart splitter set to output one direction and overflow on the other.

I seen that video many years ago. Wouldn't watch again.

It could be different belt tiers

This, sounds like you put down different belts by accident. E is the hotkey to switch between item types, easy to press by accident when building. Holding it brings up a menu but a quick press will just cycle up

The entire setup was built before I unlocked tier 2 belts. And power shards weren't used.

As far as I know both constructors should get the same amount of leaves.

It was before I even unlocked tier 2 belts.

I haven't unlocked power shards or better belts or anything. I rushed biofuel just so i could make my leaves to biofuel setup as my first serious setup.

Ok, got it, no power shards. BUT did you unlock overclocking AND, *perhaps*, you accidentally UNDERclocked one of the constructors?

A T1 belt of leaves is good for ½ a constructor. You probably added leaves to one manually. Or you broke the game (kudos)

If you have no mk2 belts and no clock speed unlocked they get underfed. Standard input for leaves to biomass is 120. If the container splits in 2 they both get 30

No i didn't underclock it. But if I had wouldn't it have filled up with leaves?

Well....yes. Exactly. You have one constructor filling up with leaves...And one that isn't. Which is exactly what would happen if you had accidentally underclocked one of the two, and not the other.

you can upgrade belts, by accident, after they are already placed.

I mean there are no pictures, no videos, we have to go by the symptoms you are describing. Double check every section of belt.
