OPENING the console not possible

i have a german keyboard iam stuck in a tree and i cant open the console to unstuck myself. i googled in the internet and it gave me some advices to change the keyboard language to english but on my windows 7 when i go to settings and then change keyboard language it only shows me german and no english. imagine playing a game which forces you to change your keyboard in a foreign language to access an unstuck command which usually can be done through the internal chat system. buy ye the chat in the game says: SORRY U NEED TO OPEN THE CONSOLE and i can say: SORRY I CANT OPEN THE CONSOLE BECAUSE I HAVE GERMAN KEYBOARD ....

Changing the activation key
Another solution that does not require switching the keyboard layout is to navigate to "%LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor", and adding the following line in the "input.ini" file under "[/script/engine.inputsettings]":

i did that and its not working F6 has no function

i save the entry into the input.ini then i close the file, i reopen the file and i see the entry, now i start the game and start my loaded save, F6 no function, i close the game and open the ini file again and voila there is no entry anymore.

it doesnt even matter if i load the game, if i add the input ini entry and start the game the input ini is already blank without an entry

Did you add the [/script/engine.inputsettings] line, too? For me, it was missing from the file for me.
Also, it isn't that obvious that the console is open. Press F6 once, and you should get a single blank line at the bottom that accepts your commands, press F6 again and that single line "opens up" and covers about half the screen.
You may also need to press Ctrl+Shift+L once to enable the console (from the guide I used to change the key: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155869993).

Calling this game trash just because you can't get the consul to work is stupid as Satisfactory is considered one of the most beautiful and well made games of all time! Just look at the Spire Coast in update 6.

why its stupid? ah you mean because it ignores german keyboards and the user need to find a workaround to fix his own keyboard to english to get to a feature of the game which should be already well developed by the devs? i see, makes sense man! awesome! in 40 years of pc gaming i never faced an issue where i as a user need to change my keyboard into a different language because a "console" key is set to nirvana button

It's Early Access... You're lucky to be able to play it in any other languages.
Also, the console key is ~ in most games that have one. Does the german keyboard not have that key?
