Dedicated server - does machines work when players logout?
Hi, I'm wondering if I should move my save to dedicated server on laptop.
Does production work when there are no players or server is idle when there is no one? Would be nice to just login after night and day production and complete recipes or plan new production.

as long as it runs, it produces stuff. well as long as you have power and all other things done ahead of time, like enough space to collect stuff and so on. but yes, as long as the game is running, well it is running...

but why don't you just tryy it for yourself? let it run for 15 min or so and see if you got items.

When the server is running and you are setting it up from in the game client, there is an checkbox option to keep the game running when no one is connected.

THIS is important. Without the checkbox ticked an dedicated server will NOT produce anything, when no one is on the server. Even if it runs.
