The Lego Constructor model was not approved

Someone designed and built a Lego Satisfactory Constructor and submitted it to Lego Ideas. It hit the 10k votes to get an official review from Lego, but unfortunately they opted not to release it as a set.

That is a shame, it would have been a fun set series, but at least the train is still up for possible approval

Couldn't you just buy the pieces to make it yourself? Or is that just a 3D render and some of the pieces do not exist? Not into Lego anymore but it looks like something that's buildable, might not have the same colour but still.

Its mostly made from basic Lego bricks, you just need the instructions from the designer, and getting all the needed bricks themselves might be tricky (the only custom stuff I can see are the stickers on the sides)

They aren't going to be approved, why bother? Lego isn't going to want to pay exorbitant licensing fees on something very few people would want.

The devs have stated in stream that they are happy for Lego to make Satisfactory models

I kinda doubt the Lego people checked that when deciding.
So more than likely it's a better safe than sorry on their part.
Shame though, I'd pick one up for sure.

I think the niche is much too small to have a heel market there.
How many people play with Lego and play Satisfactory and who of the Satis. Players would buy this is not worth it for LEGO I can understand that this was rejected.

For me, the Lego time is also decades ago and later it was more Fischertechnik.
My mother always tells me how I have rebuilt the moon cars of the moon landing darn I can no longer remember so properly knows rather of rockets and the lander.
