When you start a new playthrough, do you always spend them on the same stuff in the same order, or do you get things as you need them?

I always start with irreplaceable cosmetic items that will go into every factory I build such as signs, catwalks, roofs, conveyor walls, pillars, windows, and floor holes.

Yes, I normally keep the order. Conveyor walls, ladder, catwalk and customizer for concrete materials, followed by glass windows and roofs for cosmetics.

I like to go for double ramps, even though regular ones can do the same thing now, ladder, wall outlets, and conveyor floor hole. After that, I start on the cosmetic stuff.

As a new player on their first save, the ladder first hands down, then some of those concrete foundations.

Double ramps are always first because they're easier to zoop than the regular ramps which need a flat foundation to start a chain. By the time I get enough overflow into the sinks to get the foundation options like concrete, I've got enough excess materials that the standard foundation is cheap, and tickets become more valuable.
