Questions about Nobelisk types
I'm a bit uncertain on some aspects of the various Nobelisk types, and I can't seem to find concrete data on them. I have a few specific questions:

Cluster Nobelisk: Am I missing something? That seems like just a direct upgrade to regular Nobelisk. The initial explosion is smaller, but the cluster bombs cover a large area. This seems better for clearing terrain, destroying rocks and killing enemies. Is that the case, or am I misunderstanding?

Pulse Nobelisk: I don't have an easy way to test this on my current save file, but does Pulse Nobelisk destroy rocks? I know it can kill poison plants (which is neat), but what about the rocks which hide caves and slugs? I'd test it myself, but I don't know of any more rocks left I can test this on (there probably are, I just don't know where they are).

I'm not going to bother asking for specific damage values since I've honestly not found Nobelisk to be that great at killing things. It works fine, but the throwing mechanics are way too cumbersome to bother with. Besides, there's always Explosive Rebar if I want big booms.

I just use the basic explosives. They're effective against all types of obstacles, be they mineral, vegetable, or animal.

#1: That's correct.
#2: Haven't tested this one at all yet, sadly.

Pulse nobelisks are primarily non-lethal deterrents, unless you push something over a cliff. Fun jump booster too, Gas nobelisk along the same vein.

The only thing you need to know is, that explosive rebar is the best nobelisk. ;)

While that's true, Pulse Nobelisk also seems to have quite a significant blast radius compared to both Nobelisk and Cluster Nobelisk. As I said - I don't need explosives for killing enemies since they're way too cumbersome to use for that. If Pulse Nobelisk can destroy rocks, then I'd rather have that over Cluster or Regular.

Wait, does Explosive Rebar clear rocks and Poison Plants? If so, then I don't need Nobelisk at all. Again - I kill enemies with the Rifle, so if I can get away with just carrying that and a Rebar gun, I will :)

Yeah, I've seen that video but it honestly doesn't carry a lot of information. All he says about Explosive Rebar, for instance, is it does a bit more damage and it explodes. Nothing about Poison Plant or Rock interactions. He mostly seems to be showing off the visuals, but only going into mechanics VERY superficially.

Explosive Rebar does indeed clear an area similar to a standard Nobelisk, plus it stacks to 100. I use the Homing Ammo in areas with vegetation, as it does not affect the plants. Otherwise I use the Explosive Rebar.

Neat! Time to retire my Nobelisk, then :) I'd still rather use the rifle simply because I like the feel of it, but I'd definitely rather use an explosives launcher over the thrown ones. Thank you.
