How can I do the same but better than "that"
Hello, I'm looking for a way to bring x3conv of coal but how can I do it "cleaner" than that ?

I would recommend doing something like this:

Run the conveyors along the ground until they're directly underneath where they need to go up. Then build a wall going straight up, with a foundation every 40 meters (10 walls). If you put Conveyor Floor Holes in every foundation, you can link them directly with Conveyor Lifts, in practice creating a single lift of infinite height. Mine is a chute with 3 walls, so I'm also running a ladder and a power wire up the full height of the elevator.

The one in the example is using modded "packed" materials, hence why it's just a single belt. However, you can easily run up to 6 belts per foundation without them being too cramped (3 on either side of the foundation) and you can always just... build more foundations.

Basically, the Conveyor Floor Hole allows you to chain Conveyor Elevators together forever. Ladders can also be chained forever. You shouldn't need ramps at all, for what you're doing.

If you must build a sky bridge, unlock the double ramps in the awesome shop. Cleaner and easier to set up. Then just build the belt on the ramps instead of... whatever you have there.

Build a vertical tower and use conveyor elevators, so they go straight down rather than down a ramp

Build tower up to source altitude.
Run conveyor parallel to ground.
Stand at top and pick up items as they come to you.
When the inventory is full jump off tower.
As you're falling Build HUB at bottom.
Spatter.
Items are packaged automatically and ready for use.

heu.... do you have a pic or a vid please
I'd do a ramp and route a tractor over it. If the coal is right up a cliff, skip the ramp and pipe it down to a truck station at sea level. Keep it simple. Just gotta make sure you account for the coal fueling the tractor.

I'd go with lifts straight down, consider using floor holes to make it actually straight, since lifts otherwise snap in a stairs-formation as well. Then you can decorate it as just a tall pillar, add some lights to it or something

Apologies, I missed that yours was using conveyor lifts.

You can connect lifts directly together, or use conveyor floor holes, to achieve a completely vertical structure.

You could also build your coal gens closer to the coast so the belts have less far to go

LOL why you can build down over a precipice without cheats.
For me quite normal of exploiting the game.

Right the round building is a track spiral down under the map
Under my start factory I have a complete station complex

By using a train.

I built a ramp down so I can just go down and there is the possibility to do the whole thing with a hypertube the game gives us the means to do it I just prefer to build down than all these flying factories in the air.
I am not the only one who builds down.
For example, my nuclear waste repository I have seen in a Let's Play and have taken up the garbage just before the lower death zone store there penetrate no rays upwards through

See my screenshots on Steam
