searching for SAM ore

As you all know the devs have not yet decided what to do with this yet but i am trying to set up a network of mines for when they do , are we supposed to find the SAM mines by accident because up to now i have only found 1 node in a cave near the grassy fields.

SAM ore cant be found using the node scanner

Right now we just find them by accident, but If you look at the interactive map on SCIM[satisfactory-calculator.com] you'll see where they are. There's more than I thought.

Dropped a miner on it and I add a large container every time i'm in the area. Already have 18 large containers full of sam ore.

have you found the SAM ore node that's NE of the grassy field, on top of a plateau with twisting spires that look like ribs?

I imagine sam ore will be added to the scanner list once it actually has a use.

Thanks for feedback everyone ... i only found 1 up to now in a cave and i got lots of containers in the belt ... i saw a tip .... sam node only works for a few seconds but if you load a save they run again for a short time .... i checked it out ... its true

The SAM nodes are strange, unlike all other things they actually 'respawn' each time the server does its standard like, reboot every few hours, once it does they seemingly refill and get more which idk if thats a bug or meant that way..

There's a couple that work like other nodes and are unlimited.

Ya, like I said idk if its a bug or what heh. I can say if you guys plan to use the 100+ milestone mod while waiting for Update 6, that SAM comes in use xD
