Crash site powering
Powering crash sites with overclocked biomass generators doesn't work. I have tried on multiple drop pods. If i use overclocked biomass generators to reach the needed input the fuse breaks even if the output is 30 mw higher than the needed input. attaching a non overclocked biomass generator worked one time but not the other times.

Overclocking power generators doesn't work the same way as overclocking power consumers work. The target MW value is only met at a clock rate of 100%.

It is better to use non-overclocked biomass burners for that than to overclock them.

Do you have a hoverpack equipped? It draws a lot of power on its own, even when not hovering.

There's a trick I use to stop them from breaking but it's been awhile.. I think it was connecting all the generators to a power pole, activating them and then connecting it to the drop pod.

Not always, it's usually what FDru described above. Drop pods have a habit of shutting off bio generators if you wire them to the drop pod before powering them on.

Always in this order, works like a charm:

1. Unequip hoverpack
2. Fill burner with fuel and shard, tune up
3. happy connecting

Just run powerlines from main base as you explore. This allows you to fly as you go when you unlock hover pack, provides the power needed to open any drop pods at crash sites which need power and if you find a node of resources you need you can set up production straight away
