Does bases use power when inventory is full ?

do bases still use power when their conveyor belts have stopped due to destination being full and all the equipment have stopped producing ?

i wanted to ask because i have unlocked this sort of like a switch thing and i was wondering if i needed to switch OFF a section of my base that is not producing to save power or i just have to leave them be since they wont consume power if not producing.

Machines that are inactive drop their power consumption down to .1 MW.

ahh ok thanks. that .1 is just enough to think about adding switches.
