They said creatures would be easier to kill ????
I think something has gone drastically wrong with the creatures , i am sure i read somewhere before U6 was released that the creatures were going to be easier to kill , well my own observations say this is not so.

When U6 was released i started a new play through as well as some new fire spitting creatures we animals that drop new things to collect when they die. If anything the creatures are NOT easier to kill they are even harder and their is 1 fire spitting thing that can kill you with 1 strike.

After about 4 days of U6 all the animals suddenly vanished and eventually a patch was released to bring them back , the only problem now is that the creatures roam the game world in packs of 5 or 6 instead of 1 or 2.

Maybe i would not mind dying if i did not have to go all the way to where i died to get my gear back.

Update 6 is EXPERIMENTAL, It could change at any time and is not exactly stable, by design. The Developers could make the creatures harder, or easier. thats why it is EXPERIMENTAL branch and not the more refined, stable Early access build. Update 6 could be entirely different when it is finally stabilized and released later this summer
Hence me staying on version 5 until the modding community has a change to get their mods ready for update 6 so my game and mods will continue to work without crashing my game once update 6 is officially released to the early access branch. I know what the word EXPERIMENTAL means i have been a pc gamer for 20 years and i also have almost 1200 hours on this , i use it about 6 hours per day .

You dont need to type in capitals in your reply CAPITALS IN TEXT IS CLASSED AS SHOUTING.

I was purely stating what i have observed.

They're easier to kill than before. Spitters don't even fire as much as they used to.

I think the current creatures are a joke. I mean, I'm really bad at those fights, but when I move as close to them as possible (run into them), they kinda paralize so I can kill them easily with my basher, or they run off and I can chase and kill them. When you run towards the spitters and then move to one of their sides or their back, they seem to lose track of you, which ables you to kill them. The only tricky ones are the bees. It's be quick or be dead. Slash the source as fast as you can and you're save.

i also seem to remember the devs saying some of them would no longer run round in a circle and charge you but some of them still do that

I'm still running around with just the basher, with the blade runners I'm fast enough to do a heal-circling if things get tight. They're maybe a nuisance, but imho not real problem.

Personally I'd prefer more difficult. They were so easy before you might as well just remove them from the game.

Well I was afraid of this monster. But when a reach a wall and I must go to the deeper exploration... I craft the amuniton. Make some inhalator's and the most important! Go to menu. Music volume: 0. Spotify in background and Doom Eternal on playlist.

They're all as stupid easy to fight as ever, but that's not the point. They don't contribute to the core experience of designing and building factories. Neither do they make exploration more difficult or interesting. They don't even pose a meaningful obstacle to recovering hard drives. The same tools used just to negotiate terrain also render animals a non-event.

The mosquitoes are MUCH harder to deal with now. The previous version wasn't good either.

They took the worst of both worlds by making them constantly respawn every second and having each one take 1 hp bar from you.

A better system would be NO RESPAWNING AND having the mosquito explode after dealing damage to you.

I was not trying to say hey i am smarter than anyone else , he answered me in CAPS and as i said caps is shouting ..... you shout at people when you think they dont understand something

Shahadem ...... destroy the plant as it starts to open and the mosquitoes cant respawn.

They already stated that the Mob AI will be lacking. It may even persist into U6. The mobs may sit there while you kill them, they may run back and forth, or decide to camp under your vehicle even after you exit it, etc..

As the mobs stand now, they are easier to kill. Even though we are seeing more packs, the wonky AI negates that advantage. As for having their plasma hit harder, I have not been hit yet to know.
