How to extract water from deposits
i found a water deposit, and tried to put an extractor on it, but i can't

You need to get to tier 8, unlock advanced aluminum production, then build a resource well pressurizer and extractors.

:steamthis: The pressurized, "geyser-style" water deposits don't use extractors; there's later-game tech for those.

Water extractors are for deep, standing water... such as lakes/oceans.
