Problem with train Time Table

I've need the train to go to 4 stations to pickup components and then return to the receiving station. There is no loop. I wanted the train to make the trip and then return on the same rail (engines front and rear of 12 freight cars). All of the stations have the "Train Station" part on the end before getting to the rest of the station (does this make a difference?)

The problem is, when i turn on self driving, I get the message that the first station is unreachable I've inspected the entire run and all the track is in place.

either the train station is face'in the wrong way or engine is face'in wrong way.. also try station/drop/drop/drop<======>pick/pick/pick/station or vice versa...

ive had better luck with trains by putting a loop on the line at its ends either looping the stations or looping off the end of the stations. I havent tried a no loop track because of the station unreachable problem.

I was thinking: Remove some Freight from your station, connect the train line. Find out what the max capacity of freight and liquid station you have per station. It wouldnt take long. So if 4 works, then try 5, and so on. Also the Station between, removed 5 of them, Im sure you can only have 3 on single lane. I could be wrong. Then you will have to circle around and add block signals before and after, every station

Okay. I placed the station part at the far end of the next station (it was the first part of the station the train would reach first). Turned self driving on and the train took off (yay!). It loaded its one car at the first station, but then stated it couldn't reach station two (shoot!).

Question. Should I place the station part at both ends of the same station?

Im pretty sure you have the station facing the wrong way, or you have the station at the beginning of the track and not on the outside.

So you have two engine facing in opposite direction correct?

Add the 2nd line again, this time save and restart the game. See if that works
You should get a bug report when you close the game. If so, its just a bug

Answered my own question. Placing a station part on either end shows you have two stations. So I deleted one.

SUCCESS!!!! The problem was all along that the station at the end of the two way line must be facing outward. I had all of them facing the same direction. My two engine, 11 freight and 1 tanker (100% mixed commodity). Fuel and 11 different components were picked up at four stations and delivered to the Assembly Area for "assembly."
