Dispensers for containers

It would be nice if containers could have a proper dispenser optionally added to one of the outputs, with a big screen to show what's inside. Containers with one type of item would display a large picture, those with a mixture could show as many smaller pictures as their are types of item in the container.

Use signs. That is what labelling a storage system is for.

I just use a short belt on the output as a dispenser and once I get signs unlocked, I slap those on to list what is in the containers (icons for most things, text for multiple items or if there is no suitable icon).

I feel like a dispenser could be slightly useful, but only if it dispensed full stacks.

I have had a long break from Satisfactory and I've come back this evening determined to tear down my spaghetti and make beauty. I badly need signs but cannot find how to make them. I read that Quartz needed fully researching so I finished the last couple of things I hadn't done there. My build menu for Organization just contains 1. Storage and 2. Towers. I'm on early access build 202470 and am on Phase 4 Project. Is there something specific I must do to get the ability to deploy signs please?

The awesome shop unlocks them with tickets from the awesome sink

Hit them with the Deconstruct gun, that'll show you what's in them. Simple.

Item Hopper Mod, basically the reverse of a dispenser, you can set to only remove a certain amounts of a item from your inventory
