Picked up caterium but MAM won't unlock mineral research

Hi peeps!

I have picked up caterium multiple times without any luck... MAM still shows mineral research as locked. Anyone successfully solved this issue please :)?

do you have a screenshot of what is in your inventory?
What does the mam say?
Isn't mineral research Quartz?

Yeah, caterium is it's own tree that is labeled "unknown metal" prior to picking it up. The "unknown crystalline mineral" branch is something else entirely.

thanks a lot for redirecting me to quartz! it has unlocked it now :)
