Is there a way to change the music in the boom box?
as in change the music in the tapes to play something else?

I'm looking through the files now for ya, haven't seen anything obvious yet.

Found it! Go to this address: .../steamapps/common/Satisfactory/CommunityResources/Headers.zip/Resources
And open FGTapeData.h (Notepad works fine). It's pretty well commentated. I can't help you from here, as I'm not familiar with this coding language, but it's a start!

If you meant in game, I got nothing.

In the U6 launch stream I think they mentioned making it customizable.

I hope you're not trolling, because this file does not exist in my system, neither in the Headers folder nor Headers.zip.

One would think if it's in a folder named "Community Resources" that it would be an editable file which is read by the game at launch, even though most of the files in that folder appear to be of the "if you change anything, you'll break everything" variety.
