Conveyor belt direction?
Im mindblow how hard it is to get info about this. I actualy watched a full beginner guide about conveyor on youtube as last resolve where the uploader didnt even mention this.

I cant change the direction of a belt no matter what I do and my belt actualy dont wanna click into my 2nd building. So far very frustrating experience.

Assume it's because it's connected to either a pole or merger/splitter that was facing the wrong way to begin with. You cannot connect belts that are facing 2 opposite directions. ><

Stick a conveyor pole a few clicks from your building and feed it from the pole straight in to your machine. Ignore any other belts for a minute. If it snaps it means the direction is wrong somewhere down the line.

Belts go in the direction from the first click towards the second click, unless otherwise forced based on other pre-existing connections. If you're trying to get a belt to enter a machine, the belt will automatically snap to it if it's going in the correct direction. If it won't enter, then you've messed something up and should make sure you're trying to enter the machine from the correct side.

If you place a belt by first clicking on a building conveyor port or existing belt, the belt direction will match the building conveyor port/belt direction.

If you place a belt by first clicking on something that does not impart direction, like an empty conveyor pole, the belt direction will always be from that to where you click next.

Im not sure what you guys mean with pole but from smelter point of view into reactor its a one way it seems depending which side you choose. I figured the frontside with one arrow is always leading into counterpart from my observation.

When placing a machine, you can see the input/output directions. Input are orange arrows leading into the machine while output is green arrows leading out of the machine. If you snap a belt to one of those ends, the belt will continue in the proper direction.

When connecting belts, keep an eye on what color and direction the arrows are. You cannot lead the same color arrows into each other as they are going in opposite directions.
