Any game with sandbox building can be broken if you go insane enough, but runs a lot better than I'd expect in EA. Tbh better than some finished games.
Is one of the best optimized games you'll find on the market.
it is better optimized than most AAA titles.
I have a 1660 Super. I get about 80fps on Medium settings. That's today, when I have a gigantic factory in Tier 9. When you start the game you'll be at 100fps.
When you consider how much is going on in this game, that's no joke.
My system:
He does have massive bases and I mean he spends like 500 hours building it, obviously has the best rig. I don't think most of the player base will be building megafactories like this which purpose is to break the game sometimes and pushes its limits like he does for content.
To be honest, the game is still well optimized for an Early Access title, developers did a really good job with it where other EA titles never optimize until 1.0 release and even then the optimization isn't much better like ARK for instance.
I haven't looked in the bios awhile so there might be something I can change there.
Edit: The UEFI bios says Memory at 2133 MHZ and Target FCLK at 1200 MHZ.
Thanks for pointing this out. :)
So I am assuming any semi-decent PC can handle this game pretty well without any issues, although I still think the bigger the factory the more chance you are to having slowdown.
