Anywho... if you skip onboarding, you start with some stuff in your inventory and you can build miners, smelters, constructors, and belts right away. Scavenge the materials around a crashed pod or two, and you can even research and build a MAM without ever having to hand-mine or hand-craft anything, extending your research reach even further (Reinforced Iron Plates and Screws are the key ingredients).
The majority of the screen shake is from tool use; I have found that simply avoiding that (and combat, by paying attention to your surroundings and moving slowly when exploring) makes a world of difference, as does building foundations/ramps that don't quite touch the ground; the fauna doesn't appear to have figured out "jumping" as of yet.
Too many of us are used to Minecraft-style mechanics; Your build gun reaches a lot farther than you probably think, so you never actually have to fight, if you're clever... although avoiding the flying firebugs can be... quite tricky.
I'd love to play the game but I need the screenshake disabled or tuned down A LOT
Such a simple feature that most games include from the beginning. Why not here i wonder... its a shame, I want to play the game but this is preventing me from doing so :(
