1 - It's a false positive, and you should check this file with other Anti Virus if possible.
2 -Your file was modified and it's a virus now.
3 - The current mod manager may use something that injects info inside the game that anti-virus recognize it as a Trojan Virus (which still is a False Positive, but in this case the team who made this manager should try to contact the Anti Virus team to explain this software is not meant to harm others computers. This happened with YS 9 Monstrum Nox during release, everyone was having to disable their anti-virus because it was deleting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eXE of the game XD. The team got really mad and had to go ask all of the Anti Virus team to add a patch that stopped recognizing that game as a virus xD).
Anyway, you should try to download another version of Mod Manager, always from a trustworty source, change your Anti Virus, especially if you're using one of those free Anti Viruses, those are the worst for false positive, and talk to people on forums like you're doing here so see if someone else is having the same issue as you.
If you downloaded the mod manager from the official site ficsit.app then you're clean and your antivirus simply false positived.
What is required is just the SML files and the mods in their proper folders to play manual modded instead of the manager
Yes downloaded the program from ficsit app website ..
