Update 6 changes to dune desert

I´ve been searching for an answer for a while now.
How critical are the updates for dune desert in form of high and nodes, im building a megabase there.

From what we've seen in the preview videos so far, the changes to the Dune Desert appear mostly confined to the (currently) barren mesa that borders the sea by the Spire Coast. Some new rock formations are being added up there, as well as turning the little pond into a large oasis with lots of greenery. The desert itself shouldn't be getting any changes.

If I read that correctly, no changes for the desert in update 6 (it was updated in update 5 already)

The two giant mesas are perfect for a massive reactor farm right now, but unfortunately it appears they have plans to ruin that by covering them in indestructible rock formations.
