Conveyor Wall Hole
There are standard prefab conveyor walls in the awesome shop and they are pretty neat.
When building a factory I sometimes need a wall connection in an inconvient place. It would be nice if we can make a hole in the wall where we need it.

And there is no glass conveyor wall either. I would love that

"Ok the second floor has no door, you get in through the unused conveyor hole."

There's a mod that does that. Gives you a conveyor wall hole that works pretty much like the pipe wall hole. The "hole" is opaque, like the conveyor floor hole or the pipe hole, so you can't look through it, but it does the job otherwise.

You can add a conveyor wall wherever you like. If you want to build one out on its own, you just need to run a basic 1m foundation underneath the spot first. You can delete it after. With the "zoop" building mode, this should just take a second. Build off an existing wall or just make a quick pillar of 4m foundations to build out from.

Remember that the more you enclose a factory, the less it will eat up your computer's resources when you're nearby. Enclosing things prevents the need for them to be rendered when your vision is blocked. Using glass will look great, but it will also still require things to be rendered. Later in the game, when your Mega Factory gets so big you need a word even cheesier than "mega" do describe its scope, you might regret using too much glass.

Yeah, but the problem is where the holes are located. Sometimes you only want a single hole on the left or the right, not in the middle. Something like the convey lift hole, which can be placed in several locations of a foundation, would be nice for walls. So you can have holes only where you need/want them.

This is the problem.
Once you have a grid of foundations it not very easy to build foundations off this grid towards it.
At this moment I just solve it by making less stuff in my 5x5 floor and build extra floors

This is absolutely not true. Walling in your entire factory will not help performance.
Here is Jace talking about it:

I use lifts and mergers/splitters. You can let them clip through the wall in a way that makes it look intended.

That's a nice method, I discovered this thanks to Stin Archi and I use that kind of solutions :)
