Weird trumpets in the desert?

When lowering/turning off ur music volume, u can hear these "weird" sounds - they remind me of trumpets but i have no idea what they are supposed to be. Someone said that they might resemble wind blowing through the canyons...but you can still hear it while standing in the middle of the desert. Is it some kind of animals? And if so, why cant we see it? Or is it just a sound that should create a certain atmosphere?

I'm guessing you mean the North Eastern desert? If so then ya, it has some rather strange background sounds towards dusk, dawn and night that sound very close to distant trumpets or more or less like warhorns of old. Even more so is that the only exist in that area of the entire map. If you say, stand in the forest it sounds like a synthizer making "wooohohohhooo" sounds at night. In the grasslands it sounds like distant wolf calls and so on, I'm not sure if there's anything lore related to any of it but ya Its mostly background noises.
