walkway or catwalk? Whats the difference?

So I need one or the other, but don't want to spend the coupons on both, but can't really see the operational difference between them? The catwalk also has stairs, but is that the only difference? When would you want one over the other? (other than the look)

Simple: A walkway is for humans and a catwalk is for cats.

The difference is mostly the look. However, there are some physical difference you might want to consider. Catwalks have a smaller foot print and steeper inclines, making them a good choice for using if space is an issue. Walkways are a little larger but the handrails on them are different. You can actually slide through them but you can't do that with the catwalks.
Finally, walkways have square holes in them that forms in the corners when you tile them together. Some people find this ugly.

Catwalks are newer and in my opionion look better. And to clarify about them having steeper inclines - both walkways and catwalks have a 1 in 2 incline ramp, but catwalks also have a 1 in 1 incline stair

I forgot which but one has stairs that are very steep compared to every other ramp or walkway

The catwalks are better. Catwalks have stairs, industrial walkways only have ramps
