We don't know what that is, the game story should be coming in v1.0
President of earth.
Ficsit is ran by a president.
While I might be wrong it sounds like Ficsit might actually be more then a massive megacorporation and that saving the earth is actually a lore piece thats out of context right now; meaning that the wide spread chaos is not actually going on and that the president has no idea the artifacts exist but the artifacts are like intelligent solids that know a way to free humans or something idk xD
I just hope it doesn't turn into a story copy of the good doctor on the Voyager, where his holographic (brother) clones are somehow being "abused" and set to scrub radioactive plasma fields or to mine dangerous asteroid belts... and then you need to "free" these female clones.
Getting tired of that story angle as of late, just shows a severe lack of creativity...
I get the impression that the alien artifacts have some sort of psychic influence and seem to want to be picked up. Many can be found in what look like primitive shrines. The implications of this is both disturbing and intriguing, making me all the more curious how they will factor into the full game. Or if they will simply be left as anomalous objects for us to collect. I know it's silly but hearing them always gives me the creeps.
Thanks for all the help i dont know much and im only on tier 3-4 so this really helps
The planetoid you have visited was deemed as extremely hostile by Exploration and bypassed by Research because of solar flares, but not before they lost a small exploration team on it. No SAM ore or artefacts were taken by Transport and a large amount of machinery (Exploration & Transport) and an AI core (research property) were left on the planet.
Your grafted sub-employee (who has gone quite mad!) sees an opportunity for a 'hostile takeover' of the lead ship using the AI, Sam ore and artefacts. It can use these deposits to build a FTL drive, catching up with the lead ship and using codes on the AI core to download itself over the sub-employee on the lead ship.
After failing to land a Ficsit employee on the planetoid multiple times (all those crash sites) a clone (you) finally safely made planetfall...
I've had a lot of time to think about this... X)
She seems like a 'dormant' glados. either way i'll be happy with the direction.
This would explain why, upon being injured, the game informs us that FICSIT property is being damaged. I think the main twist of the story will be the player finding out that despite looking like a human, our character is not.
It would also explain why the special WIP objects can be heard by the player: it's broadcasting a signal to the android player or potentially even hacking into our digital minds.
So, basically, the planet is tricking you into picking up artifacts in the hope that it can eventually convince you to stop doing what you're doing.
Alternate "ending" -- you ignore the planet and complete the project which causes the pioneer to become dissembled (she/it is a construct? right?). Fiscsit is efficient after all.
