Dunno if the systems have changed since then, but try doing a recording which includes you sitting at the depot waiting to fill.
Loading gets interrupted due to short waiting time.
I find that 20 seconds is enough for a truck to be able to get fully loaded from a station.
1. You put fuel in it
2. Get in and record a route
3. Complete the loop to finish recording
4. Back up a bit
5. Get out and edit or remove nodes
6. Get back in to turn on autopilot
7. Jump out one last time and get out of the way (that last part is very important, unless you want to be run over)
in your case OP, the only node you should be fiddling with at this time is the "start/stop" node that actually appears as a pause icon. accessing this node allows you to assign a pause for as long as you need it. if you have a stopwatch, just do a manual run and time how long it takes to fully load the Tractor/Truck because it does matter quite a bit. i even go so far as to time my entire run even before actually recording the route. i found that was easier to calculate how long my Tractors/Trucks need to sit idle at the stations to load/unload all cargo.
Thankfully, it still works that way with fuel. But, gone are the days of drive-by-loading through a row of stations.
I kinda do and don't. I like being able to drive down "truck station central" and not un/load until I get to a specific destination. Also, that perimeter box was a bit big, and if you try to shave that corner, you either end up with peanut butter in your chocolate or chocolate in your peanut butter. If it catches you snoozin', you end up with a mystery jam.
Also, I like to park the truck at its loading station until needed, rather than the unloading station, so that when the timer cycle completes, the receiving station should be hungry and the loading station full. I didn't mind parking at the receiving station for however long it takes to fill and make the return trip, but just for the sake of clutter, I prefer to have it parked at home.
