rotating a foundation.

im trying to make a circle, and all the vids of update 5 ive found show them rotating in small amounts with the ctrl button but when i do that it just swaps my hotbars. am i missing something or did this not get implemented?

It did, best guess is you have remapped the control. For me alt+scroll changes my hotbars.

Try the same button you use to snap buildings adjacent to each other

idk i dont remember changing that control but ill try resetting controls then cause i tried looking through the controls and didnt see anything, i snap with ctrl so idk. thanks.

the hotbar modifier is by default the Alt key, Ctrl is for snapping to the World Grid and additionally yes you can rotate foundations by smaller increments holding Ctrl and rotating while placing onto another foundation.

i've been doing this since before they added this ability using a much more tedious method. on a side note if you are running Mods or have used mods in the past this may be causing issues as well as the mod loader was leaving residual mod data that was causing all sorts of input device issues.

in any case, scan through your keybinds to make sure you haven't switched out keys by mistake. resetting keybinds to default may help also.

I think an update reset some of the settings. Check if controller input is active - that was the culprit for me yesterday
