Before I unlocked a bunch of stuff from the AWESOME Shop,
I just stacked up several pillars and put the power pole on top of it.
Now, I am using this...
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2662767526
A combination of several concrete (or metal) pillars,
a painted beam with a beam connector at the end of it,
and several wall outlets attached to the beam.
I find that the maximum space between two 'electric post' should be no greater than 12 foundations. Otherwise, you'll get the 'Wire is too long!' message.
Hope that helps!
Not sure how I'd count 12 foundations but yes I get the message and take a step back or so and I'm able to place.
You can create wall outlets that provide power too? How does it get power from the pole? :D
Actually I started to think about this... I could use foundation blocks to raise my power poles but they do take up a lot of space so I guess temporarily for now until I can do pillars they'll just have to be.
Thanks for the tips!
Indors I use wall outlets placed on the ceiling.
