Returning after 6 months, what/when will be next major update?

No announcement on that so far. So until then you are free to wildly speculate.
(Biofuel being usable for the Jetpack, maybe?)

Like Dreadlow posted, TotalXclipse's video wraps it all up pretty good. CS is currently in a planning phase. They try to figure out how to continue development, whether an update 6 would be the right decision or to release smaller updates instead and so on. Definitely worth to watch in case you are interested in the development of Satisfactory!

Can't imagine what another tier would even be themed around. Three was about byproducts and large scale logistics. Four was about precision assembly line tuning. How do you top a particle accelerator and nuclear power?

ok thanks guys! What about building a stargate or a wormhole gate? I guess you don't move in space at light speed only, you need to go FTL? Or is it against the lore?

In any case I was more thinking about more creatures and deep hideen seecret, a bit like the story line of Subnautica with (mid spoilers) alien presence etc. Plus these weird calls to gather these weird resources!!

Alien tech...it might already be right in front of us, just not the how. Sloops n' spheres and SAM ore to make quantum comps and superpossie oscillators in a monster size final tier converging with the story.

Truthfully, I typed that on a PC.
But I hate auto-correct myself, it never changes it to the correct word and always makes typing slower.
