How to not just reduce, but eliminate end game lag
Been playing Satisfactory over a thousand hours and have completed every tier three times over. The last one using mods for the first time. But even with a gaming computer using a Geforce 2070 w/max Q, I still run into a huge amount of lag. The game runs like stop, go, stop, go, stop, go real fast forever. Makes it extremely difficult to build anything. Well if I was to continue playing this game that I absolutely love, this would have to stop.

Started a new game file. Yep all over again for the fourth time. But not like I did before. Just started tier 5 and I have yet to build one assembly line. The only time I built a machine was when I couldn't do it on the craft bench. Only it was just one machine. An assembler sitting there by itself with a belt running from its output to the space elevator. Would build the ingredients at the craft bench (using the "Faster Manual Crafting" mod) and feed the machine until the required goal was met. But this is the point where assembly begins. Again, never like before (if you build a large factory in one location you will experience very low frame rates). So you can't do that ever again.

Now I do play with mods now, but before I would build extremely long belt runs hauling resources to a several central locations. The more animation you have, the more lag will certainly follow. A belt has a lot of animation (it moves). The longer the belt, The more animation you will have. So I have a plan to almost eliminate the belts (the longest belt run is less than ten feet). So how do I run resources to far away places? Trains? Nope. A mod call "Storage Teleporter." (unlocks are tier 5). You may say that this is unrealistic. Would you rather have extreme lag? I want to play the game without it. Do you? Make that choice. When I build a miner, The tiny belt runs into a storage teleporter and that's it. No assembly line. Nothing. When you have to build something, you build your factory line in the middle of nowhere. With a storage teleporter feeding the resource at one end and another at the output of the storage at the end. No lag there.

Note: The mod "Belts and Mines (fast) (BAM) pushes Satisfactory into the future. You're not building 20 to 40 slow old fashioned Mk. 2 or 3 machines producing one product like the 20,000 cables or the 40,000 batteries you will need to complete the last tasks in the game. You are running a Mk. 8 machine. Capable of producing thousands of items per minute. At 100% speed, a Mk.8 miner gives you 12,000 ore per minute. The belts and lifts go up to Mk. 11 @ 24,000 items per minute. Now there is a catch. These machines require an enormous amount of power so it's not cheating. I've had a Mk. 8 Manufacturer running at 250%, but drawing about five and a half gigawatts of power. Without a nuclear reactor, I was producing 70 gigawatts with a storage of 400 gigs by the end of my last game.

When I have to run an assembler or manufacturer, there will be two to four storage teleporters there to bring resources to a remote site. Then another at the output and that's it. The game has a very large map so you could spread your "factory" over all of it and never experience any lag. If people in real life lived this way, there wouldn't be such thing as a traffic jam. Now unfortunately there is no such thing (yet) as a fluid or gas teleporter, but the good thing is pipes don't move like a belt or lift. By the way, my last game had no trains. The belts were much faster, but this game with few belts being used, it will be even faster. Now again, I'm only at tier 5, but you can see above what I plan to do. I'll update you as I move forward.

This is not only lag free, but the fastest game I have ever played. Just over 35 hours and I'm working one tiers 7 and 8. No long belt runs. No trains.

There is now a fluid teleporter mod that works the same way.

Use the mod and the !additem command. Fill the elevator, the game is over, you can delete it. Fast way, no lags.

if u build your base in unconnected outposts with trucks and independent power in theory usually most of the animatons will always be outside render range

the independent power is really just for fun

I pick mods to make the game more enjoyable. Not to run a cheat/mod like unlock everything or unlimited resources. Increasing the types of resources and the amount of equipment you build also increases the interests. Also like the Refined Power mod that makes the coal to steam process more realistic. Each part is used in the real world and hooked together the same way.

What is the mod called that transports liquid?

Using any mods is cheating in my opinion.

What if it played the way I'm playing now was how the game was in the beginning and then Coffee Stain Studios came in with a mod to change the game (to how the original game is). Would you call that cheating? Just because two game designers have different opinions doesn't make it wrong.

I didn't say it was wrong, and if it played the way you say, then I wouldn't play it anymore. I am a cheater in ark and my opinion isn't worth much.

I’ve played Satisfactory completely all the way through three times and I’m now on my fourth. So what got me to keep playing beyond the second time? Experience of the mods.

I wouldn’t recommend using the mods if this is your first time, but without them I would have abandoned this game long ago. What got me to play this fourth and final time was using the teleporter mods to an extreme level as discussed at the start of this post. “To play a complete game without any lag.”
