Edit: okay, nevermind, according to the wiki it looks like it runs off of coal. Maybe you're using a different fuel in the vehicle?
The answer to your question is 2 posts above you. Just automate the path and you're good.
But if you do automate the road of this truck, does it get refuelled? (as cadillac said)
