The sink uses 30MW. The bioburner gives 30MW. So it would be running at full capacity and burn through the fuel really fast. Honestly if you are at the biomass phase of electricity then you shouldn't even worry about the awesome shop. I would wait until I got to the next more stable way of making electricity.

Yeah, biofuel is kinda meant to be a pain in the butt. The resource sink just isn't worth it until you get coal power.

To be honest, there is nothing much to 'sink' anyway while you're still on the first couple of tiers. Nothing is automated enough to produce non-stop and you will easily use up everything in your inventory for expansion.

Maybe if you find "high tier" goodies besides some broken machinery, those are useful to boost some 6 tokens for the shop?

The only must-haves for me are ladders, double ramps, & Mk1&2 wall outlets.

There are some tricks for getting 12 free tickets in the early game, but crashed pod loot is otherwise the best way to fast-track tickets.

If you must sink things while on Biomass other than pod loot, object scanners are good.

Sink only as much as you need and then move on.

The Sink only consumes power while eating, so always use your fastest belts.

For me Ladders are a must, but also the flood lights. Everything else can wait.

Not neccessary any more (only for cosmetics) because since the update even normal ramps have snappoints and can be easily zooped.

Yes, but maybe he is not aware of the change :) or need it for cosmetics. I have bougth them prior to update 5 only to build easy ramps. Now I can save the tickets ;) .

It's more for exploration, but I do also like the aesthetics.

I don't plan to adopt U5 until it comes to EA.

If snapping ramps works as well (for exploration), double ramps will drop off that list.

um wall power mounts? indispensable. Those double mk 2s are good for a looong time, but the sooner the better. Retreading early facilities to get into midgame is the slowest part for me, so the more I can do in the first build the better.

Yes, normal ramps works as do double ramps for exploration in Update 5 :)

If your biomass is burning too quick, build more burners. The load is shared by all of them, so doubling the number of burners you have will double the amount of time it takes for them to burn through their fuel. This does require more and more biomass harvesting, so having dedicated biomass production is mandatory. You could also do the sensible thing and just restrain your scaling until you unlock coal, and, if you have things to sink, you are likely scaling to quickly.

I thought a 200 stack of biomass would be enough for like 45 minutes at full power?
