Satisfactory is nowhere near perfect, its still unfinished. Super fun game though, if you like the concept.
Also, the studio is actively working on the game and generally positively engaged with the community
Lol why? Because its impossible for there to be a really good game in current year?
I would say that the majority of the "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviewed games in my library are niche games with relatively smaller markets. There are exceptions that break through to the general audience like Stardew Valley, but for the most part the people that buy games like Noita, Wildermyth, and Dyson Sphere Project are people looking for those niche genres that appeal to them. It's not fake reviews, it's just that the nature of these games creates a barrier that helps avoid the hype train that pushes people into buying something they won't enjoy, leading to a skew towards positive reviews.
You see the opposite happen when yet another first person shooting building survival game comes out. This is an over-saturated genre that appeals to a broad audience, and the results typically leave people disappointed with at least one major aspect of the game, depending on what the developers chose to focus their efforts on. This leads reviews to skew negative.
In the end, your best bet for determining whether or not you will enjoy the game is just knowing yourself and your tastes in games. Ignore the Up or Down vote and read the actual reviews.
- no risky/sensible topic, so no risk of being bombed by some community
- games kinda target a precise kind of player who know what they buy...
- ... and like that's its both good in its style and as a game
makes unsurprisingly for good rating
Great Vids, but he breakes every game.
