How do you remove the red experimental banner?

It's supposed to be in your face because it's experimental. It needs to be obvious so you know you're running an unstable version. To easy to forget which one is installed if you switch back and forth.

I get that it's experimental. The game manages to express it's on EA without a bright red banner. Because, you know, the text.

Why is there so much resistance to this simple question? Do you people enjoy that banner?

After 5 minutes I do not see the banner anymore. It is a little red thing in the upper left corner. I concentrate on the middle of the screen.

It is not about EA. It is about being an unstable experimental release.
They probably don't want people posting images/videos with glitches and bugs online to lower the perceived value of the game. Since they know that the game likely contains bugs on the experimental branch, they put a disclaimer on it.

because he had to actually go into the game settings and set it up for experimental branch instead of just playing the official release
