Need help SMM sml file not working

Hi, right, I am unable to load the game as I keep getting the same message over and over again about the sml not being found.

Now I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and SMM, but I still am receiving the same message, any ides?

2.4.3 is the SMM version you need if you're playing stable update 4. 2.4.4 is for the experimental version, and you will get the error you describe if you use it for the stable version.

Right, first I am not playing the experimental version of the game, second I have download the latest version of the mod manager that is currently available from the web site, third this has only just started happening in the past two days, so as you can see the problem that I am having is a complete mystery!!

Right,I found the problem after checking all my mods and uninstalling and reinstalling the game and the mod manager.

It turns out the it was a mod that was coursing the problem after all that.

I think it might be the daisy chain mod, because after I removed that mod every thing started working again?

That's weird, I am using 2.4.4 on the stable version with no problems

It is quite possible that is was caused by a mod conflict of some kind!

Edit: I went to GITHUB and it looks like the comments were changed. Or maybe I just read it wrong the first time.

You should be using 2.4.3 for Early Access. Although I am also using version 2.4.4 for Early Access without issues.

Naturally, it depends on the compatibility of the mods you're using. Waiting for the creator to update his mod is another option, but using the version labeled as appropriate for the patch you're playing is sure to cover you.

Well it's happened again I just started getting things working again and now it stopped because of this SML file problem. Version 2.4.3. will not run without auto updating to 2.4.4. and this vision crashes my game and gives me that blood stupid message about a missing sml file.

My SMM also auto updated today and gave me the missing xml error, however there were also mod updates available, so I updated them and it worked.

Now, I suppose it depends on the mods you have, so if it worked before, then my suggestion is to set SMM to not auto update on launch and manually update when required.

Right all my mods are on auto update so they update when needed to, also I do not have an xml, but an sml missing file and that is what is crashing my game not the mods or an xml file.

Go to Settings --> SML Versions --> select 3.1.0.

Had it on Latest (still on 3.0.0) and it gave me that error. This is on EA branch.

EDIT: Tested twice now and it still works. For some reason it just didn't update automatically.
