Flood light Towers dont work?
Is this occuring for anyone else? I know theyre new so its probably just a bug right now but I just wanted to check if they work for anyone else. I have a cave base going and street lights just arent enough. Its frustrating not being able to see.

My towers are working, but also... you know you can hit 'b' to turn on your flashlight, right?

Check the settings, maybe you put them on night mode - if so than just wait.

I have the same problem. In the FloodLightTower panel the color stays on black. I've tried nigt mode and all. Stayed up until dark just in case. but no all my lighting won't light up. I'm going through all my installations but seem all the same. I'ts a big worl and I got lots of lights. It worked before but with the Experimental Update v0.5.1.11 it seems to not be working.

Perhaps a silly question, but... you plugged it in, right?
They do require a power connection.

everything is connected. The ceiling fixtures work fine. Light up at night and shuts down on daytime. But the light tower is a mystery to me. Won't light up and won't remember the settings either.

Verify you have power connected to the post on the right side of the light control panel, with the lights connected to the post that has a lightbulb sticker on it. Perhaps you got them reversed?

The render distance for lights is too short for the flood lights to actually work. At least back when I made this post, that was what I found out. Might be fixed now but since y'all are posting about it still, doesn't sound like it x.x

So it's basically an engine limitation the devs couldn't fix without adding way more resource crunch.
